Art Block!!

I am getting ready to start Lesson 4 in my art class. I have been having a terrible creative block that I just can't get past. My instructor worded it perfectly... "As an artist, one of the most challenging and contemplative subject matters one will ever face is that of a white piece of paper. Yes, that's right! When you sit before a white piece of paper, you are faced with a challenge- one that can be quite demanding and yet very exciting." I haven't gotten to the exciting part in the last few days. I just sit there staring at a blank piece of paper. It's like my brain is fogged up and I can't see anything in my imagination. So I am hoping that Lesson 4 awakens something in my mind.

I registered for Fall term at P.C.C. and look forward to starting at the end of September. I didn't get the exact class times I wanted. I now have to change my Wednesday morning book-study. :( Which I am super sad about. The good news is that I now just have to walk across the street on Tuesday nights. I was able to get all the classes I wanted, so I am excited about that. I will be taking Photography (Non Darkroom) , Darkroom Photography, Ceramics, and Art. That should get the creative juices flowing!
