Akina

Here is my latest water color. I was inspired to paint her after talking to a friend that says he doesn't like his art because it looks cartoony. I always wanted to draw cartoons but had a hard time with it. :) I named her Akina, which is a Japanese name meaning: Spring Flower. It didn't take me long to draw her, but it took a few hours to paint her. It made me happy to get some painting time in. I worry that when school starts I wont have as much time to play with my watercolors and art journals. :)
