Aunt Bren's Ash Spreading

We went to Montrose, Colorado to spread Aunt Bren's ashes on Red Mountain Pass. It was a beautiful drive. Here is SOME of the pictures. I took some emotional pictures that I am not posting. I am not sure if everyone wants those on here, so I wont post them.

Just a few of the cousins.

Outside our hotel. We took over the third floor of the hotel!

Just south of Montrose.

Horses along the way that made me think of Aunt Bren.

Ouray, Colorado

Our caravan to Red Mountain Pass

These roads were winding and had a HUGE drop off, with no guard rails. It was spectacular! Beautiful.

The river that flows from the Red Mountains makes the water orange.

The Red Mountains are beautiful.

This is the spot Uncle Sam picked. It was perfect.

Uncle Sam wrote a wonderful letter to Aunt Bren, we were all in tears.

We all got to spread a little bit of her ashes.

Elijah and MaLeah wrote letters to their Ma. Tasha read them and then spread some ashes in front of them.

Tasha brought some flower seeds for some of us to spread for Aunt Bren. We all know how much Aunt Bren loved flowers. I spread some Pansy seeds.

I set up my tripod to get a picture of every person who came. It is blurry! Doh. I should have taken my time. :( It was wonderful that so many came from all over to show their love for Aunt Bren and support Uncle Sam, Tasha and Leon.
I am so happy I was able to share this experience with everyone. I love you Uncle Sam, Tasha, Leon, Lee and Tina.
